Diana's Mom Upset Over Exploitation of Daughter's Name

April 28, 1998 - 0:0
LONDON The mother of Diana, Princess of Wales, has joined her son in demanding an end to the exploitation of her dead daughter's name. Frances Shand Kydd and Diana's brother, Earl Spencer, jointly wrote to a fund set up in memory of Diana at the start of the month and had expressed concerns and asked questions about the way it was being run, she said.

The fund, which raises money for charity, was recently attacked for letting Diana's name to be used on a scratch lottery card and margarine tubs. (AFP)
